The Bohemian Exchange: A Non-Profit Ongoing Artist's Salon and Retail Space

While wandering Abbot Kinney last week, we happened upon the coolest shop that jived with our mission of highlighting inspiring people who are doing business with a finely tuned moral compass. The owner Deborah, explained how her shop is a non-profit artist's salon where she encourages the community to come together to create and inspire.

 



We immediately fell in love with her and the items that local artists were offering. While looking at what I thought was a colorful sash, she came over and undid a zipper showing me it was also a pocket to stash money, ID and all the necessities you may need for a night out on the town without worrying about a purse.

I can't say my outfit of jeans does it justice but it would look pretty snappy with a dress. She also had some handcrafted leather belts with the same hidden pocket.

Deborah is a big promotor of Abbot Kinney and takes pride in her commitment to community. Just speaking with her made an impression on me as to how much the enthusiasm you put towards what you are doing really shines through and effects others.
